Hello,
I just bought a Carrefour CDP 420S landline phone with an answering machine (it’s this answering machine that motivated my purchase). This device includes a "base" (dock) and a handset.
On the base, there is the mention "00" (according to the manual, "indicates the number of messages on the answering machine"). However, even though there are several messages on the answering machine, which I was able to access with 31 03, the display remains at "00". Is there data to be recorded beforehand (not indicated in the manual)? Or is it a malfunction?

Sorry, I don't have the answer... I'm also looking for the same problem, so if you found something, I'd be interested because I'm also having trouble connecting to the 3103

As far as we are concerned, the problem was as follows: since we benefit from the answering machine/recorder service (with 31 03) from our operator Orange France Télécom, messages were recorded on the handset (thanks to this service) and not on the answering machine. To get around the issue, the ringing duration before 31 03 becomes operational needs to be extended. This way, the answering machine can fulfill its purpose. To extend this duration, proceed as follows:
pick up the handset: dial star 610 star 40 hash. And that's it...

You need to cancel the voicemail message 3103 by going to the Orange website in the "My Account" section! Only then will the phone's voicemail take over and work!
