Install javaw.exe Solved

Question

Hello, I need to install javaw.exe on my computer (I am using Windows 7) What should I do? I saw that there was mention of 64 bits or 32 bits. I don't know how many bits my laptop has. Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hello,  To check if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit: Start ===> Control Panel ===> System  That said, Java doesn't need to know if you are on 32-bit or 64-bit. To download Java: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp?locale=en  Download it to your desktop and then proceed to the installation phase. Be sure to uncheck the installation of the ASK toolbar when the installation wizard offers it.  Have a nice day.

Good evening and thank you very much franqui34 for your response. I tried to download the Java software but it's impossible to do. It must be because I accidentally deleted this software and there are probably traces left on the hard drive that prevent any reinstallation. That's the only thing I can think of. What do you think? However, to use another software, I'm being asked for Java... I will try to do a previous restore.

Hello,  Download this --> utility and install it as an administrator.  After the installation, go to start All Programs Right-click on --> windows installer cleanup Choose --> run as administrator and confirm Launch it  Select one box at a time for everything related to java, sun, oracle, etc... Click on remove.  Restart the pc Go delete the folders --> java In --> C\program files and program files (x86)  Launch CCleaner as an administrator for cleaning in windows, applications and registry. For using CCleaner, check this --> tutorial   If you have a 64-bit windows version: Install both offline versions --> Java If not, install only the 32-bit version.  -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

kaneagle, I wanted to register msicuu-7.2 but it's asking me to register this software as an administrator, as you mentioned. But how do you register as an administrator in this case? I read the procedure that franqui34 provides, which seems effective as well. I want to emphasize that I'm putting in a lot of good effort because I'm completely clueless about computers.

There is nothing to do if no Java appears in the list.  Try uninstalling it with --> Revo-uninstaller   -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

I watched the tutorial that explains it well. Except that Revo Uninstaller didn't find Java either. I thought about restoring my computer before the accidental deletion of JAVA, but that is impossible to do: the computer keeps showing that an error has occurred and that the restoration could not be done. Try with javara and if it still doesn't work: Go to start All programs Accessories Right-click on --> command prompt  Choose --> run as administrator and confirm Type: sfc /scannow and enter  A system file check will be performed.  -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

No. It's stuck with Javara. I followed the instructions given meticulously and I clicked on download half an hour ago and nothing is happening. Should I wait longer? Well, I will move on to your last message: go to start.... I'll keep you updated.  The scan is finished and everything is fine since it says: "Windows found no integrity violations." I did everything that was advised to remove the remnants of JAVA and download a new version and my system is good. I'm giving up but I'm not marking it as resolved in case someone with a great idea shows up.  Thanks again Kaneagle.

While I had given up any idea of reinstalling JAVA after all my unfortunate attempts, I finally managed to install it by chance by asking in another discussion how to merge my PDFs other than through pdfsam. In response, an internet user gave me a link for JAVA that I opened without hope, and there it was, JAVA installed. In any case, I thank you very much franqui34 and kaneagle for your help.
