Hello,

In an Excel sheet, the filters do not account for all the cells in my spreadsheet and I can't explain why.
I haven't found any clues on Google or in the resolved posts of this forum. Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you in advance!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 26.0 / Excel 2007

    Hello,

why a filter doesn't work if only the header row is selected
one explanation could be that rows 3 to 1198 were selected when the filter was applied and you just don't remember that or you didn't pay attention (due to a copy-paste, for example). And you completed the others afterwards.

In addition to the thank you (yes, it is done!!!), please remember to mark it as resolved when it is the case (at the top near your title).
    Thank you

      Hello eriiic,
I have a doubt, the filter is on the range [A10:H10], it always goes to the first row of a selection..! However, there must be a value in each cell of the filtered row..!
      Friendly regards.

Let's say rows 2 to 1198 then, the header row copied-pasted as well... ;-)

Excellent answer !! I didn't know that the filter acted on the current selection! And to think I had been facing this problem for years :)
