Well, the connectivity issue isn't easy to solve, huh? So first, I also had this problem, but I searched so much that I eventually found a solution.

So let me explain: you just need to go into your modem, if you have one of course! And how to access your modem? Good question, huh? But you probably know how? Let me explain anyway.

So you go to your toolbar at the bottom right of your screen and double-click on your connection status. A window opens, and you see General and Support at the top! Well, you go to Support, and in the window, you see (Type of address), (IP Address), (Subnet Mask), and (Default Gateway). What interests us is the Default Gateway, as it's what allows you to enter your modem; let's say it's your modem's serial number.

Then you open a web page and in your address bar, type the serial number of your modem -> Default Gateway ...................... and hit enter, and there you are in your modem, but that's not all. I have a Neuf Box modem, the brand is Sagem, anyway..

In your modem, you have connection configurations, so you go to Advanced and then LAN Server, then take a look at the window of your connection status, and note down your IP address which should be displayed in the advanced settings of your modem under LAN Server.

The LAN Server configuration allows you to set up your Emule; you have in the LAN Server the necessary ports for your Emule connection, so in the LAN Server, you should have the same IP address as in your connection status. If you see it in your modem's LAN Server, that's good! Next to it, you have the port, for example port (up to) 46661, that's the port you will enter in Emule.

So to finish up, you open Emule and go to preferences, then go to connection, and you see in the connection window, for reception, type 96 kB/s, and for emission, type 0 kB/s, in max sources type 400, and
in connection limits, type 500; then in client port in the TCP box, type the port that you find in the LAN Server of your modem. Once done, restart Emule, then update in Emule server from the update server, you type http://razorbak3.com, and once done, restart Emule and there you have it, by magic, it connects by itself.

Well, that's not all, but I'm signing off for now.

Hello Micka, go to www.emule-inside and click on configure eMule, it will give you the steps to properly configure eMule, update the servers, etc. That's what I did because eMule wouldn't connect anymore, and it works. Good luck and hang in there!!!
