Auto parts scam

I ordered a spare part from the website http://www.piecesauto.fr/ and my bank account has been charged the amount since the beginning of 2014. And the part in question has never arrived at its destination! I call, no one answers. I contact them by email, no response either. Is this a scam? What should I do?

Thank you for your assistance... Believe me, I learned a lot of things at once.... In the future, I will take my precautions.... Online business is really a jungle.

It's a scam and it uses several website names. You can read about it at http://www.60millions-mag.com/forum/commerce-en-ligne/commande-piece-auto-sur-france-piece-auto-com-t661-50.html
search on Google for the SIREN number: DE260634589 and you will find many complaints. Especially do not order from abroad. They never refund, and the parts they send you do not match the original.

Good evening,
One word: run away quickly! GET OUT!
AUTO-DOC or pièces24 are crooks (with little feet) and many others unfortunately.
You order, you get charged, and... in the best-case scenario, you receive your parts. The only problem is, they couldn’t care less about your order and the brand you chose. Without asking you anything, they throw in some exotic brand, in short, parts that last 15 days. They tell you it’s much better than the brand you chose (Bilstein for example), no wonder, you paid three times the price... You threaten them through your payment operator? That’s when the roles reverse and they accuse you of dishonesty and turn your request for mediation into... a dispute because they no longer wish to talk to you! (Of course, they buy themselves time). And of course, they don’t want to refund you! It’s a jungle, indeed, and it’s getting worse. What is the police doing?

I've been getting the runaround for 4 months regarding a return for an item I refused because it was damaged upon delivery. (At the same time, it's probably the carrier's fault; just look at how they throw packages... but hey, I'm the customer, and the seller is the carrier's customer.)
I've submitted a request to the CEC http://www.europe-consommateurs.eu/fr/resoudre-votre-probleme/

Hello there. I searched at Oscaro and MR Auto for a driveshaft for a Chevrolet. They told me right away that the part was unavailable. So, I ordered from AUTODOC and paid €204.00. They then charged me €277, saying they would refund 20% of that amount once I returned the old part. The next day, they told me that the part was unavailable and that the bank had rejected the charge, which was false. I then contacted my legal protection with AXA and three days later they refunded my money.

Hello, that's exactly it, I got caught too! But we won't be fooled twice, AVOID, whether it's autodoc, piècesauto.fr or pièces auto 24, it's the same company.

Hello,
I also ordered from the website, and apart from a slightly long preparation time, 5 days instead of 1 day, it arrived and is in accordance with my order, but now I would like to return it because the part is not compatible.

I am in your situation and it has been _ weeks now that I have been waiting for a refund.

Same problem as you, Ziggor. I ordered a part, and they decided to send me another one because the one I ordered was out of stock. The problem is that this part doesn't fit my car model, and I wasn't informed.
Anyway, if we don't act together, they will keep doing this.
I am available at ***@*** to take action against them, but we need to do it as a group because we know that alone we stand little chance.

Hello everyone, The law allows you to dispute a payment by credit card. You just need to request it from your bank. If you are a victim of fraud, no justification should be asked of you. Request the replacement of your card after blocking it. The Gendarmerie or the Police will not take your complaint, so there's no need to waste time. The bank is required to comply.

I recommend that you do not use the site "piecesauto.fr" for auto parts.
After a delivery time of over fifteen days (car immobilized), I finally received my order; out of the four items, two were incompatible with my vehicle (coils and spark plug wire!!!) the difference in fit was invisible to the naked eye. After returning the parts at my expense, they refuse the refund on the grounds that I attempted to install them, below is the exchange of correspondence:
From: info@piecesauto.fr [mailto:info@piecesauto.fr]
Hello, dear customer
We have received your package. Unfortunately, we conclude that the part has been installed on a vehicle and we cannot refund you. Awaiting your response. Thank you for your interest.

Having taken great care to pack the parts in their original box, identical to your shipment and having borne the costs of return shipping, I hereby request a full refund of my damages amounting to €51.96 for the Ignition Coils Article 48055, plus my shipping costs.

Dear customer,
there is a high probability that the parts from your order 1167090 are compatible with your car. However, we ask you to keep in mind that it is not always possible to have an exact compatibility. Our team will try to carry out a detailed and rigorously tested analysis for the parts of your car to achieve maximum compatibility. The verification by an expert is now complete and we will ship your order as soon as possible.
If you have any further questions, we will be happy to assist you.

Hello everyone!

Same here, I've been having issues. I came across all your comments while searching for information on their number.

I bought a pair of mirrors for my Golf 3 from them in early March 2015. Selected in manual order, low price, complete, one pair. Attractive price.

They called me once, without leaving a message. I found today in my spam several emails from their mechanic (?) asking whether to send the electric version (twice as expensive) or the manual one. Even though I paid for the manual version, a pair, Golf 3, year + vehicle number.

Today, an email informing me that a credit note has been issued for the amount of the two mirrors did not go to spam unlike the others. So I have the right to buy parts from them.. Would you do it?

I am trying to ask them for a refund. Even though they tried to contact me, which I do not deny, I do not understand how, with the very clear product selection, the vehicle number, and the price of the parts, they are unable to know which part to send.

Any junkyard would do a better job.

Catch you later.

Good evening
I have been waiting for an order for over a month! It's lies upon lies: each time a new item is out of stock but the order will ship tomorrow! This site is nothing but a huge scam.
I suggest that all victims come together for a collective action by contacting me: vaio21@msn.com
In the meantime, it is urgent to make it known all over the web what this company really is.

Good evening;
I am getting back to you, you who are being scammed by this site which, I must admit, is the worst online ordering site.
What I propose to all of you is to initiate legal action together.
Three reasons.
The first is to get a refund.
The second, and I commit to this knowing the procedures, is to shut down this site.
The third reason is to protect others.
As I have already said, taking legal action alone will have little impact.
I am available at lylien@hotmail.fr

Hello,

Keep your so-called gift. And stop your scams which, upon verification, are numerous according to the websites. Associations will gather every victim ready to initiate a class action against you!

I am still waiting for the refund of my order. Since your stocks are ghostly and you are unworthy liars pretending to be sellers... By claiming to have stock before the order and then nothing after... It's certain that a Kia Cerato bumper is ordered every 10 minutes... Moreover, despite this unavailability, you continue to offer it on all your sites... Looking for a little more cash flow...? They are everywhere even at this number 0970733733 address in Germany hosting: piecesauto24.fr / auto-doc.fr / piecesautopro.fr / motordoctor.fr...

I assure you that you will not get away with it. When one lives by fraud and lies, one ends up perishing. I pity all your employees who are forced to work for you to feed themselves and invite them to resign before becoming complicit in such acts!

Your pseudo online lawyer claims that you have 15 years of seniority!.. Another lie! Or else under another entity marred by so many frauds.

Since October 1, 2014, the French class action is possible, I only wish to participate! (Alain Bazot, president of UFC-Que Choisir will be informed)

The UFC association and others will prepare a file and will take care of choosing a high court to initiate the procedure.

Once the action is triggered, the association will seek to obtain a first judgment of liability. The judge will only have to note that there is an identified group with a similarity of situation? That there is a violation of rights and finally will rule on the amount of compensation you will have to pay us!

If you want to avoid such a judgment that will tarnish your image in any case, a settlement via a discretionary indemnity is possible. But if we go all the way and you push me to class action, you UFC will have to disclose the amount paid... Not good for your future pigeons...

The "sleeping consumers," who believe they also belong to the injured group, will be able to join the procedure and make a request for compensation themselves. I will seek them out...

Hello gentlemen,

Could you please clarify the next steps in your procedures with this site? Is it a real scam or not?

I plan to buy a part on this site after verifying that it's the right one on other competing sites, but after reading your comments, I'm really hesitant.

The price offered on this site is unbeatable compared to all competitors (half the price) for the part I'm looking for..

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards.

I was also scammed/robbed by piecesauto24, piecesauto24.lu, piecesauto24.be, etc., which are actually all the same company.

I placed order 3885235 with them, this order was cancelled and I’m requesting a refund several times a day, by phone and by email, and I always get the same response:

- "The person in charge of refunds will call you back later..."
- "When?"
- "We don’t know, we can’t help you, goodbye."

Conclusion: I’ve been taken and ROBBED OF MY MONEY like all the other former customers of piecesauto24, etc., who have come to complain and leave very negative reviews because they have never seen their money again.

Type "piecesauto reviews" on Google and you will see that they use the "WE'LL CALL YOU BACK LATER" trick on all their victims (former customers).

STAY AWAY, go to OSCARO for example, at least they are serious.

I ordered a door lock from them. Upon receiving the item, the part's references were ground down, worse yet, the part is used and has already been installed (grease marks, wear on the cable contacts). I'll save the best for last, the part has even been brutally opened with a screwdriver. So I naturally asked the hotline, which doesn't understand a word of French, to send me a new part or a refund. In response, I was half-accused of having worn out and opened a part that was new when it left their place. How can these thieves still operate in France? I am, of course, available for filing a group complaint. For those who haven't fallen for it yet, this is a site to avoid at all costs. Gautier

Same for me.

I ordered a thermostat from a reputable brand for my car, and they sent me one from a brand I don't trust, without even asking for my opinion.

Moreover, I entered a discount coupon which was taken into account in the invoice but not in the PayPal amount. I ended up paying the amount without the discount, which does not match the invoice. I filed a complaint, and they said they would refund the discount. Instead, -- so be it -- they issued me a new invoice without the discount!

I opened a PayPal dispute, which they immediately turned into a claim with no response. As a result: send the item back at your own expense to Germany. Given their bad faith, the registered shipment costs €17.50, half the price of the item.

Conclusion 1: they send whatever they want without respecting the contract and have nothing but contempt for their customers.
2. PayPal does not protect for small purchases.
3. You can no longer shop in an online store without first researching who you are dealing with. What is the fraud prevention service doing? I am an e-commerce merchant myself, and these people tarnish the profession and destroy trust! They are simply thieves.

Hello

I am not mistaken in saying that this phone number is associated with different brands
https://www.piecesauto24.com/mentios-legales
https://www.piecesdiscount24.fr/pieces/equipement-intrieur/volvo/xc90-i
https://www.piecesauto.fr/pieces-detachees/fiat/spoiler-avant/brava-182.html

Websites that belong to the same company in Germany
RCS: HRA 46262 B, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg

SIREN No: DE260634589

Headquarters: Josef-Orlopp-Straße 55, 10365 Berlin, Germany

Telephone: +33 (0) 182 885 436

and the hosting provider is also in Germany

what is still strange is that the Hot Line is a French number
( Paris region )
and I assume that this Hot Line redirects to a number in Germany

and if I can believe this

https://www.piecesauto.fr/cgv.html

this site is dated December 1, 2013

and also strange a German sales company that refers to French consumer code
and even stranger, the title of the site resembles this site
http://www.pieces-auto.fr/magasins.html

after all, scam or not ..................?????

And the other issue is that a .fr address is supposed to be geographically located in French territory. I quote https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/9244-deposer-un-nom-de-domaine
"
.fr
Official French extension, it implies being geographically located in French territory. Any identifiable person online in the databases of the Registries, INPI, and INSEE can register names of their choice under .fr.
The creation of the domain must be validated by AFNIC, the information and management center for Internet domain names .fr (France) and .re (Réunion Island). The domain must comply with the naming charter.
"
The registrar must have been solicited on behalf of a French company. You need to ask AFNIC for clarification.

I want to emphasize that except for the slightly more tedious procedure: providing a copy of the identity card, and except for some excessively long delays compared to other sites, I successfully ordered two parts that correspond perfectly to my car.
On the other hand, like apparently many others here: the returns of parts are pathetic.
The processing time for messages by customer service is incomprehensible, several weeks, which is confirmed on the site! At least there's no deception there; it's very clearly stated.
My order was placed on this site: http://www.auto-doc.fr/
I am not at all satisfied with their customer service, for many other reasons, but let's keep it brief.
(for me, it concerns a part that arrived damaged, so it was directly refused upon delivery, and the carrier took it back: since then, zero, nada, no news)

To me, it has only been 15 days, but your messages are worrying me a lot.

Hello everyone

Newly registered thanks to the scam
I just read your comments as I was about to place an order, it's true that the offers are great, but since it was too good to be true, I came to check the reviews and found you.
So I will stick with my other provider, which is twice as expensive, but never mind, I'm sure it works
I wish you all to get your money back, it’s still not normal that in 2015 our government tolerates such things.
Let's keep denouncing these crooks

Best regards

I understand your disappointment. For several weeks now, I have been trying to resolve an issue with the merchandise received. I had placed a very specific order for a part that met my expectations. I received my order late, but that's not the most degrading aspect on their part. It turns out that I received a part that does not correspond to what I ordered. I reached out to them to ask for explanations, and I was informed that they had modified my order. Well, when did you think you would notify me? I remind them of their policy regarding modifications to orders on their part, but I never received a response. First point. After informing me, they assure me that the spring is identical to the one originally ordered. I have it installed by my mechanic who warns me that the spring is not compatible (it is too wide in diameter and rubs against my bodywork). I return to the website saying that the spring they sent me, which I had installed by a mechanic, is not compliant. And there, they simply reply that I can absolutely return the spring as long as I haven't had it installed. This is what we call a reverse answer; they use words from the question to form a response that does not address the meaning of the question. I therefore provide them with evidence through photos of the spring touching the bodywork, a mechanic's assessment, a report from the technical inspection, and more. I am able to prove to them that they are wrong and that they cannot even provide me with the exact dimensions of the originally ordered item. There is the second point, with the response being "Sir, we cannot do anything for you."

I also confirm;
Do not order at all, it's a scam.
They owe me a refund of €67 because due to a computer bug, I paid once too much. I immediately canceled my order and they assured me that I would be refunded. They even dare to provide a transaction code and blame my bank, while my bank has received nothing. A SHAME!!! SCAM!!!
(ps; I did really receive my first order and that's the only positive point)

Hi

If the site is based in France, send them a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt demanding delivery (or a refund) within a short time frame...

If there is no response (or an unsatisfactory response), you can contact the local judge

See you soon

This is beyond my "skills," however, I assume that staying within the European framework will make it "easier" to resolve (or act) than if it were an "exotic" company...

I hope others can provide you with leads... however, if I were in the same situation, I would consult the German consular services about the type of steps to take....

Order validated and paid on 16.02.2016 for €889 by credit card with 3DSecure option and sending of documents (invoice and bank details).

No news on 22.02.2016, I manage to reach someone who tells me that they refunded me and that if I'm interested in my order (not really?!!) I need to pay by PAYPAL.

Scammers.

beware, they take a 50 euro deposit
to recover this 50 euros, you must return the used item at your own expense of course, and then nothing, even by harassing them, they respond with different French pseudonyms, Juliette, Noémie, etc. but always, there’s a problem
grrrrr

I placed an order for 153 euros that was debited, but the items are obviously not available.
After several messages, they responded that they could offer me an account with them, which I refused, and I requested a refund again.
After again, an overwhelming number of messages, chat, etc., I was informed that someone would call me.
Three days later, my phone rings once and there's nobody on the other end (do some research online, they do this to everyone).
I contact them again, and I'm now told that someone will call me on Monday...
In short, I'm being bounced around.
NEVER BUY FROM THEM. They have been scamming everyone for years.
I have taken the initiative to file a complaint.
But spread the word, do not buy from them!!!!!

Hello

I confirm all the comments; I have the same problem. They sent me a part that I didn't order, claiming that it wasn't available and that the one sent was of better quality, and this without informing me. When I ask for explanations, I'm told that the ordered part wasn't compatible, but the one sent isn’t either. Why send it to me? No response to this day. I installed the part they sent, and it is perfectly compatible. No professionalism; it was the first and last order, and I will share this with others. They can count on me.

Hello,
I will never buy from KIAUTO again. I ordered a Catalytic Converter for my 2002 XSARA Break 2.0i 136 HP, and I received a catalytic converter for XSARA VTS 09/2000-05/2001.
They never answer the phone 0582840371. You can try calling them to test it out.
They do not acknowledge their mistake. From the beginning, they told me I received what I ordered. I provided them with all the evidence: a photo of my car, the registration document, a photo of the packaging with the label. They did not admit their mistake to avoid covering the return shipping costs.
I wanted to send it back, but it is so complicated and expensive that I thought they would come up with something to avoid refunding me when it arrived.
It’s really a bunch of incompetent people... this is truly the first time I’ve encountered such a dishonest site.
This site needs to disappear!
