Smart TV on Philips
Hello, I'm new to the forum and I need your help.
I can no longer access smart TV on a Philips 47pfl4307 television even though it is connected to the home network (and indicated as such).
A message says "Philips server not found - please try again later."
Would any member have a solution to suggest?
Thank you in advance.

Good evening,
It's good, the Smart TV is working again.
A software update message popped up on the screen. I proceeded with the update and the instructions, and everything is working.
I would like to know if it was Philips services that intervened with my serial number and the Ethernet Mac address.
I hope that everyone who was in the same situation has been able to recover their Smart TV and, most importantly, that it will last.
Thanks to the Philips advisor who intervened (if it was an advisor who intervened).

Good evening,
A similar issue is preventing me from using the Smart TV function on my screen purchased 2 months ago... After reading the previous discussions, I would like to know if this is a bug with the Philips servers?
Model: 40PFH6609
Serial number: FZ1A1411045692
Ethernet Mac Address: 1C:5A:6B:63:A2:D7
Thank you in advance

Good evening,
Thank you for this information which I had already read on the forum.
I have already completed all the steps twice and nothing changes.
I always receive the same message "Philips server not found - please try again later."
For your information, I tested the connection with the same cable on my Canal+ decoder and it works. So there’s no problem on the side of my Orange box or the cable, and it was working with the same setup two weeks ago.
Best regards.

Hello,
Just like you, I have the same problem with my television that persists even after the repair attempts described above.
Like you, I would like to have a follow-up on the responses as I am stuck and have not had access to the server for a month.
Thanks to Philips support for bringing us a solution.
It is still strange that so many users are encountering the same problem lately.
Best regards

Hello,
I have a Philips 46PFL5507H12 TV and I am unable to access Smart TV, even though I have followed the recommendations exactly as stated on the forum, namely:
1- Reinstall the TV (no firmware update as it is already on the latest version)
2- Clear all cookies from memory...
and I'm still getting the same message: Philips server not found... when I try to connect to Smart TV.
What should I do? It’s extremely frustrating!
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards.

Hello Philips support.
I am in Switzerland, and I have the same issue with the Philips server being unreachable.
I have gone through the procedure to reinstall the television, and there are no updates available for my model, and the Philips server is still unreachable for Net TV and others.
My home network is functioning very well, and the internet connection reaches the television.
Another small issue, when I type 123 654 to obtain the MAC address, a black page appears with the title CSM1, where the following is listed:
1.1 Set type. 42PFL7695K/02
1.2 Production code VN1J1109014573
1.3 Installed date. 27/04/2012
1.4a Option 1. 02052128031235153439
1.4b Option 2. 44816343110000000000
1.5 12NC SSB. 310432863223
1.6 12NC display. 932227643682
1.7 12NC supply. 272217100987
1.8 12NC 200hz board. Empty
1.9 12NC AV PIP. Empty.
Otherwise, I checked the network settings, and the Ethernet MAC address is: 18:8e:d5:20:d9:bc.
Hoping you will have a solution, I thank you and send you my best regards.

Hello,
I have exactly the same issue with my TV 42PFL4007H/12. After experiencing a few minor bugs, we are now facing a "Philips server not found. Please try again later."
We followed the procedure outlined by Philips support on this page with no results. If we had known, we would have never bought a smart TV. It never works.
Goodbye to our favorite recorded shows.

Hello,
I personally have the same problem as the long list of contributors here. When trying to access the smartTV functions, I first get the connection attempt, then the server registration attempt, and finally the message "Philips server not found. Please try again later." for the past three weeks, even though it worked perfectly before. I have already tried everything: resetting my box to which the 40PFL5507H/12 television is connected via wifi, clearing the cookie memory, restoring the TV to its factory settings, updating the firmware to the very latest version Q554E-0.100.0.0 via USB, and still this darn message. I am providing you with the Ethernet MAC address (18.8e.d5.f9.b8.19) and the wireless MAC address (20.10.7A.c1.0B.88) of my television, as well as its serial number (ZH2L1309063965). I hope this information will help resolve my issue because it is indeed very frustrating to have a smartTV whose basic functions are blocked by this single message.
Thank you for your help, best regards.

I just called customer support, apparently the problem is widespread and the Philips technicians are in the process of resolving it.
It's been more than a month that it's been a mess, let's just say that the SMART TV function is no longer guaranteed with this TV model...
It's been more than a month that it's been a mess, let's just say that the SMART TV function is no longer guaranteed with this TV model...
I also finally contacted Philips customer service, and they gave me the same response: the problem does not come from the TVs but from the Philips server that centralizes all smart TV functions and has been down for a month without anyone being able to tell me, even approximately, when it will be fixed. Honestly, when you buy a smart TV in perfect working order and end up with just a simple TV because Philips can't manage a server, it's really frustrating, and I don't quite understand this way of "centralizing" the software remotely that ultimately leaves us completely at the mercy of this kind of administrative absurdity. In any case, this will serve as a lesson for the next time I have the opportunity to buy Philips: their way of doing things is not serious, to be avoided like the plague...

Hello,
I invite you to try the following actions:
Delete all cookies stored on your television. Access the TV menu: [Setup] > [Network settings] or [Installation] > [Clear Net TV memory] or [Clear Apps memory] or [Clear Internet memory].
If the problem persists after deleting the cookies, check if your router is using a cloud service. If so, restore the default setting for traditional configuration and management of your router.
You can also reinstall your TV using the [Reinstall TV] option in the TV menu. This option will completely erase the portal settings.
Feel free to get back to me if these actions have not worked.
Best regards,

Hello, I just bought a Philips TV and I can't access the smart TV, the Philips server is not found. I'm on fiber optic, so it's not a connection issue. I went to your site to download the update, I installed it following the steps, I tried again but it still doesn't work. I deleted the cookies and tried again, but it still doesn't work. I reinstalled it and it still doesn't work. My model is 40PFL5507H/12, serial number: VN1B 1210 002038, ethernet MAC address: 5C:33:8E:A1:4D:4B. I've tried everything without success. Thank you for your help. Regards.
Hello,
I'm sorry that this method didn't work.
It seems that the Philips server encountered some difficulties over the past few days. Everything appears to be back in order, so I invite you to try this method again even if you have already attempted this procedure:
1) Reinstall the television
- Press the Home button
- Select [Setup] > [TV Settings] > [Reinstall the television], then press the OK button.

- Follow the on-screen instructions.

Good evening,
I am even more sorry than you are that no method has solved this Philips server issue.
I tried your new procedure but the problem persists.
You mentioned that the Philips server has encountered some difficulties in recent days and that everything should be back to normal. But that is not the case, and I am left with a Smart TV that is just a regular television but not at the same price.
Is there a real solution to this problem which, if I believe the forum on this site or even on other sites, is becoming widespread?
What has the after-sales service planned in the contrary case?
Just like alineric who has joined us in this discussion, I am sincerely starting to deeply regret this purchase.
And if no solution is provided, I will make it my mission to raise awareness about your products.
I am looking forward, like many others, to your response.
Best regards.

Hello Gobcha,
In order to find a solution to your problem,
Could you please provide me with:

Hello,
I am extremely disappointed with the Philips TV that I just bought, the 42PFK6589. The Cloud TV doesn’t work despite clearing the cookies, reinstalling the TV, and calling customer service. Since I chose Philips for the Cloud TV, in the end, if I had gone with a Toshiba or another brand, I would have had the same experience for much less money.

I just bought a Philips TV
65PFS7559 and I'm really disappointed with the Philips interface, it's really slow and has way too many bugs.
The Cloud TV doesn't work
The channels are very slow when changing
The Ambilight flickers when changing channels
The Easylink only works halfway even though my Harman Kardon home theater is compatible with HDMI ARC, CEC
I did the latest update but nothing has changed
Do you have a solution?

Sincerely,
I just bought a Philips 42PFK6589 television and I cannot access Cloud TV. When I launch the app, a blank page appears with a message in English saying that it is not available. I am very disappointed because I chose Philips for this Cloud TV. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps mentioned above, but nothing has worked, and contacting customer service (which understands half of what is said) has not changed anything. I have had this television for 4 days, and I already regret it.
We encountered some difficulties with Smart TV for a few days.
This issue is now resolved. Is it for you?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Best regards,
