Hello,

I want to reset the password on my computer running Windows 7. I followed a process I found through online research. But when I got to the point where I needed to change the password, it says "The username cannot be found."
Actually, I used this command: "net user username new_password."
Now, I wanted to know if there is a MS DOS command that allows me to find out my username? I could completely reinstall the system, but that would waste my time. So I wanted to know how to find out my username in MS DOS.

Configuration: Windows 8 / Internet Explorer 10.0

    Hello

    to change the password, there's an easier way: CTRL-ALT-DELETE, then change the password.

    otherwise, the net user command lists the users
