unknown 11-digit phone number

Question

Hello, I received a call this afternoon from 00125125145. Very surprised, I didn’t answer, it’s the first time I’ve seen this type of number. I’ve been searching since then and I can’t find any information about the origin or who might own this type of number. Thank you to anyone who can enlighten me.

It's probably a foreign number. The first digits indicate the country code of the person who's calling. In this case, 001 or 0012, I'm not sure.

Hi, it's probably a number from zone 1 (US/Canada)  -- and ... There you go!

Yes, I even saw that it could be the area code for Alabama. But it doesn't have the right number of digits to correspond to a number from there. Unless I'm mistaken, in my search I only found numbers formatted like this XXX-XXX-XXX, and since the two 0s indicate an international call, there's something missing. :(
