Hello, I just bought a mini ocean intempo camera. I inserted a 2GB microSD to do a test, and I managed to record 6 minutes, but I can't retrieve this video on my PC. No software is provided with this camera, what can I do? I'm on Windows 7 or 8, and none of them detect this device. Help!!!

Hello, just a tip: your device is not recognized when you plug in the USB cable? Treat it like a regular USB stick and copy-paste the files, then retrieve the files with editing software.

Editing with the AVCHD (h264) codec

Video editing from the files of new camcorders in h264 (AVCHD) codec
Or it's the same for digital cameras
Useful for filming for a long time and tedious for editing, as it was originally designed only to transfer from camcorder to TV for weekend filmmakers.

The current standard agreed upon "in the industry" for new equipment is indeed a "quad-core" (with integrated graphics) i5 or even i7 at over 3GHz frequency, more memory with Windows 64-bit for over 4GB of RAM: 8GB or even 16GB (needs enough space on the motherboard)
The integrated graphics card in the processor is sufficient (Sandy Bridge)
A fast hard drive, 7200 RPM or even 10000 RPM from pros with 1000GB, including a dedicated partition for video editing. An "SSD" (ultra-fast memory) is a big plus for housing the system and software, while the traditional HDD would be limited to storage since it's cheaper per GB.
A mid-range (and high-end of course) HD graphics card could replace the integrated one in the processor and assist with GPU calculations (CUDA)

Hello, read my presentation above and you need at least Windows Live Movie Maker and Windows Vista or 7, VideoPad is also available for free.

    Hello.
    I bought an Ocean camera.
Be careful.. it seems that the USB port is only for charging the battery.
To transfer files, you need to take out the memory card and put it in the computer...
On Android, playback is possible; you need to enable the S/W decoder.
The photos are fine for display on a tablet.
On the PC, the Windows reader works without any problems.
    No image stabilizer... it shakes!
What software should I use for editing??
