Hello,
I noticed that for the past 2 months my bank account has been charged €79 by a site called serviceinfo.com london
However, I do not know this site at all and I am therefore sure it is a scam. I have already taken steps with my bank to oppose this charge.
So, I need to file a complaint with the police and bring my bank statements showing the charged amount and my credit card.
On the other hand, we won’t have a credit card for at least 10 days.
I had a secured credit card with my bank, yet there are still some crafty ones who are even sneakier.
So, be very careful.
Véronique.

You've been had.
Rose's Note: You can stop the withdrawals by going to http://support.servicenfo.com/, then going to subscriptions and stop your subscription, and you will receive an email confirming that you are no longer subscribed.
Some sites ask for a credit card number to supposedly verify that you are of legal age, but it was probably mentioned somewhere in fine print that the amount would be debited. You can very well be a minor and have a credit card. Anyway, each time the card codes are requested online, you can be sure that there will be a charge afterward. In this case, there’s a good chance that you’ll be charged every month!

You can:
- file a complaint with the police;
- contact your bank to change your credit card.
- Report the site responsible for this "dubious practice": https://www.internet-signalement.gouv.fr/PortailWeb/planets/Accueil!input.action
My mother was charged €69 twice over the last two months.
The procedure to follow is described on the government website:
https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/A-votre-service/Ma-securite/Conseils-pratiques/Sur-internet/Archives/Les-escroqueries-sur-Internet
If many of us report it, the cyber police will track them down:

Let's not let them get away with it!!!
For reimbursement, request it from your bank via registered mail. It's up to them to prove that you weren't scammed. In the meantime, they must refund you.

Although I share most of the previous opinions.... it is also possible that the bank details were hacked on another site and then used on the site "Serviceinfo.com" (which seems to be a site that offers user manuals....)
It is also possible.... that someone in Veroniquebrun's circle had access to her card....
See you

I also got fooled; it was on the Chocam site. I thought I was doing a free age verification via credit card (which I'd done without issues elsewhere before), but apparently, the service is free and then becomes paid after 15 minutes (which I didn't see mentioned).
I searched for servicenfo and by going to the site http://support.servicenfo.com/, I saw that I had a "subscription" of 79 euros with a 60-day periodicity. I asked them for a refund, but in my opinion, it's a lost cause; they basically responded, "on what basis...?" My "subscription" is canceled, that's all.
I am currently in your situation...
I have taken the necessary steps with my bank.
And I have a question for you, Did you manage to recover your money afterwards?
