Panasonic Viera

Hello,

I have a problem with my Panasonic Viera TC-P42X5 television... when I unplug it from the wall or turn off the power on the switch connected to the outlet that powers my device, I can't restart it. In fact, the first time the TV restarted after about 30 minutes, the second time it took a bit longer, and now it's been over 3 hours and it won't turn on.

No blinking, no sound, absolutely nothing. It's as if the device isn't plugged in at all.

The strangest thing is that in the first two cases, I had the same symptoms and the device eventually managed to turn on.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Does anyone know what's wrong?

Thank you for your help!

solution : keep it always on standby
cause: capacitor faulty
depending on the TV, if it's no longer under warranty buy another one or find an electronics buddy.

I turned on the television, no signs of faulty capacitors, no signs of burning either... It seems that several issues are identified with the red light blinking, but as far as I'm concerned, there is absolutely nothing...

Another suggestion? The TV is exactly 1 year and 7 days old :o( so the 1-year warranty has expired...
