Reverse joystick controller

Question

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Logitech controller. In a game, the joystick is reversed, meaning when I push up the cursor moves down and vice versa. There's no way to change it with the manufacturer's program, nor with any emulator configuration. I've also tried adjusting it through the game settings.
Anyway, I've explored a lot of solutions, but none of them work (even after testing with another controller).

If someone could give me the answer. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Here are the steps to (re)configure your controller:
Control Panel > in the search, type "games" without the quotes > click on Configure USB Game Controllers > left-click on your controller > then on Properties, and there should normally be something to configure the controller. Personally, I got my controller in December, and I've never had one before, so I can tell you how it works at the end of December.

Thank you for these response elements. The reverse effect simply changes the position of the joysticks, the right control moves to the left and vice versa. However, this does not change the direction sense of them.

So try to configure your controller by reversing the joysticks. May I also know its brand and model please? I might be able to find you an official driver of the latest version.

Even with changing the polarity of the axes, it does not make a difference.

Hello,

So I updated the software and changed the Y axis of the joystick, now when I try there's a conflict at the direction level. It doesn't know whether to move forward or backward, so it doesn't move or barely at all.

Hello,
So reinstall the drivers completely, then run CCleaner on the registry category. If you don't have CCleaner, it is available here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/standard
Here's how to clean the registry:
CCleaner > In the tab on the left side, click on Registry > Analyze > Fix > No > Fix All > And that's it!
Then, reinstall your controller's driver!
