Cannot find Monthview in Excel 2010.

Hello everyone, Forum hello

I have software created in Excel 2007 where I installed the calendar (Monthview) and everything works very well.

On another PC with Excel 2010, I have an error because (Monthview) could not be found. I installed the additional controls and after looking through the list, I still cannot find Monthview.

I have checked all the existing controls carefully, but I still cannot find it ??????

My question, please, where is it in Excel 2010

    Hello,
    Your 2010 is probably installed on a 64-bit PC? If so..
    The Monthview, from the MSCOMCT2.OCX dll located in the System32 directory of a 32-bit system is found in the SysWO64 directory.
    Try..
    Open Explorer as an administrator.
    Copy MSCOMCT2.OCX from SysWO64 to System32
    or, to add the Monthview, browse for it and point it to SysWO64

    Thank you for your response, it's nice of you.

    My Excel 2010 is installed on Windows 7 32-bit Family Edition

    The .OCX files are properly installed, or at least I hope so, and I have checked all the additional controls

    but I still don't have the DatePicker or the MonthView

    I searched quite a bit on the net and found nothing for my case.

    Search on the PC for MSCOMCT2.OCX and MSDATGRD.OCX for the datagrid.
    Attention: in Administrator mode and check in the system directories.

    Hello again

    I did some research but couldn't find the MSDATGRD.OCX file, however, I saw it available for free download

    What should I do after downloading it, and where should I put it????

    I have the other file in system32, and both files are activated MSCOMCTL.OCX and MSCOMCTL2.OCX

    Damn Microsoft isn't very precise after all.

    For MSDATGRD.OCX, copy it to System32
    But then register it
    also try to register MSCOMCTL2.OCX

    Thank you for your response, it's all good, it works, I have all the missing controls

    I have registered MSCOMCTL2.OCX and MSCOMCTL.OCX as Administrator

    But what is the purpose of MSDATGRD.OCX and is it useful to register it?

      MSDATGRD.OCX is the DataGrid DLL, and yes, it is mandatory to register it in the Windows registry.

    thank you for the response

    I can't find the file MSDATGRD.OCX on my 32-bit PC, nor on another one, and not on my laptop which is equipped with 64 bits either

    Could the fact that this file is not installed cause an Excel crash
    like (Excel has stopped working etc. etc.), which is well-known

    How can I check if it is actually installed on the PC

    Still, all my files are working
