Hello,

I removed applications' access to my Instagram account in order to make my posts private. I’d like to restore those access but I don’t see how to do it. Do you have any idea?

Thanks

On which device did you perform this manipulation?

I made a mistake on my PC. For private posts, it was on mobile that I needed to act. Do you have any idea how to restore access?
    I went through:
    Edit profile
    Manage apps
And I now only see the message below:
"You have not authorized any apps to access your Instagram account."
I'm afraid I may have blocked my account permanently.

I know that on iPhone, if you haven't allowed an app to access a service or another app, it prompts you. For example, think of the Maps app: if location services are disabled and in the Maps app you tap the icon to locate yourself, it will show you a message "Enable 'Location Services' to let Maps determine your location." If you tap Settings, it takes you directly to the menu to re-enable the service. Would it be possible for you to do something like that? And what is your mobile device?

I am on Android. On my phone, in App Management, I don't have the App Permissions option. And I don't think the analogy with Maps is appropriate in my case. The app works fine, it's just that links from blogs or other sources no longer point to Instagram.

I’ve solved my problem! You had to go to the site where I wanted Instagram to appear and adjust the settings.
    Have a great Sunday
