Network connection issue for Galaxy Tab 3

Hi, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7" running Android during the holidays and I've recently had a serious problem with it: I connect as usual with my Wi-Fi, the tab connects but when I use the Facebook app, YouTube, Play Store, or others, it doesn't work, it reacts as if I weren't connected :s what's strange is that the internet browser works perfectly fine..
I need help, I think it's a settings problem but I don't know if it's from the tablet or the Wi-Fi.. the problem has been ongoing for 3 days and it's frustrating me :/ thanks in advance
