Hello everyone!

So here I am currently using Excel version 2010. And my problem is that I want to put a background image behind my table, how do I do that? Because I've looked everywhere on Google for how to do it but I didn't really understand (given that I don't have the same version as them!)

Thank you!

Hello,

In Excel, you cannot set a background for only part of the sheet.

All you can do is place a Rectangle shape over your range, which means you won't be able to edit the cells underneath without moving your shape (it would be best if there were only formulas).

Right-click on the shape, then 'Format AutoShape...' / 'Colors and Lines' tab:
- Color: 'Pattern and Texture... / Picture / Select a Picture...'. Choose it and confirm everything.
- Transparency: 80%

It's just a workaround, if it can help you...

1) In addition to saying thank you (and yes, it’s the done thing!!!), remember to mark it as resolved (at the top near your title) when applicable. 2) You should never reply to an unsolicited PM...
Well, that's done.
