I would like to purchase a Snipe satellite antenna with the intention of using it for home and camper van TV.
Who has this experience?

A 60/80 cm dish (€35) on an articulated arm with a wheel, for C-C, but with manual adjustment, achieves the same result but at a much lower cost...

For pointing and adjustment, we can use a satellite beep pointer, e.g., SF-500.

Thank you for your response. My question was more about the suitability of using this equipment at home and with the CC. I prefer an automatic satellite dish; this one is 65 cm in size. Best regards.

I'm probably arriving too late,
I bought this antenna, a real delight with its suitcase.
I have now fixed it to my motorhome, I was in Essaouira, Morocco, the channels were as clear as in France.
€799 in December, and I installed it, a piece of cake.

Even if it's late, all testimony is interesting, but my question was about the dual use between house and RV... according to my research, it's too complicated: it's either one or the other.

Hello,
I am following up on my comment.
It is clear that if we do not fix the antenna, we can install it wherever we want: house or elsewhere, there are 12m cables to connect the decoder. So buying this antenna is the best compromise.
Of course, like any satellite antenna, the line of sight must be clear, with no buildings or trees towards the south.
