If you have Apple devices that you connect to your PC, you shouldn't delete it. It's something that allows, among other things, your iGadgets to work properly with PCs.
In the end, if you delete it and can no longer use your iPod with your PC, you'll know why ;-)
Before asking a question: 1° The brain doesn't wear out if you use it, so feel free to use it!
2° Google is your friend, and the search engine on CCM is too, so make a search!
