Hello,

I tried "Mobile Backup" and Orange's Android but they are not compatible with my phone.

I tried Samsung Kies and I have access to all files except for the SMS....

What else could you suggest?

Good evening
If you want to back up your SMS, try SMS + backup which you can download on your mobile phone with your Gmail address; you will be able to back up your SMS.

So, you download the SMS+ backup app on your mobile phone, and it will install itself after the download.
You open an account, or rather an address on Gmail.com on your PC.
Then on the left side of your PC in your Gmail account, you should see SMS. You need to go to the column where you find inbox, drafts, etc. . . . On your mobile phone, you need to check the box connected to, and there it is your Gmail account.

  I just saw that Samsung player city is not Android but Bada... Does that explain everything?

Hey zoulou33!

I set up a Gmail account on my PC. I added it to my mobile (Samsung Player City) but can't connect the account on it. Is that important since I mainly want to retrieve SMS on my PC?

  I don't understand anything.... why can't I connect on my phone, how do I download the app (I don't have a device ???), finally, there's just too much reading for me, it depresses and discourages me..... I don't know where to start or how....... :(

  Kies doesn't recognize SMS at all. It only recognizes sounds, videos, photos, calendar, and contacts.
  
  My SMS do not appear in the folders on my phone, so I can't transfer them to the SD card that I bought just for that. In the SMS settings of my mobile, I can only save them to the phone or the SIM card and not the SD card....
  
  As for the archiver that you have to pay for, there are no details on the required mobile configuration, on the PC one, nor any reviews; it's really too random for me to try.
  
  There must be a solution, but it's eluding us for now! ;)
