Dear internet users,

I bought a Canon EOS 1100D camera about 2 years ago and I would like to wholeheartedly dive into underwater photography.
So here is my question: "Where could I buy a housing or waterproof case for my camera (noting that I won’t be going deeper than 3 meters underwater)?"

Thank you for your understanding and support,

Fanny.

I also recommend the Dicapac WP-S5. The handling is not straightforward, but you can still achieve good results. I myself conducted a test of this product: http://www.photo-ben.fr/test-du-dicapac-wp-s5/

I think it offers the best quality/price ratio for taking your DSLR underwater.

Hi,
I found the "dicapac wp-s5" on Amazon. It's a soft plastic bag where you put your device inside. It closes with a zip lock.
It works really well, I've never had any leaks in 2 months of use in seawater. I use it for videos with my Canon EOS 1100D, and it turns out great.

As for the downsides, I would say:
-the price, it's expensive for what it is
-the window gets scratched easily
-hard to access buttons and settings

There you go, I hope I helped you :)

What's your budget? Because a real waterproof case quickly costs around €1000.

I can't spend €1,000 on a case... The best option would be to find a second-hand one, cheaper than the price of the device itself, which I find more reasonable...
