Hello everyone,
I’ve gone through quite a few topics on this forum, but I still haven’t found a solution.
The "FN +..." shortcuts for adjusting the sound, light, etc. are no longer working.
I have a Lenovo G580 (2689) that is 6 months old with Windows 8.
I’ve already tried methods like reinstalling the keyboard driver, messing around with FN + num lock, but it still doesn’t work.
Anyway, I’m lost... help please.

I have a LENOVO T540P. I also had a problem after a restart (I don’t restart often).
After the restart, the FN key was no longer lit, and the functions of the F1, F2 keys, etc. (mute, etc.) were not working anymore.
After many key combinations, I reactivated the Fn key by using the combination Fn + Escape (on the Escape key, at the bottom right, it shows FnLk...).
Everything is back to normal :)
