Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my phone and my daughter's, they are both Samsung, we cannot charge them in the car with the cigarette lighter adapter, we tried changing the plug and USB cable but nothing works, I also have a USB/power adapter and that doesn't work either, however, it works via the PC!!! I've asked at several shops and no one can help me. I hope someone here can :-)

A big thank you to Visitor. I have 2 Samsung Galaxy Trends that I couldn't charge in my two cars. I tried 4 chargers from different brands and several USB connection cables without success. Failure after failure.
And then, THE SOLUTION: a little soldering between the 2 central pins of the USB port.
The only difficulty, and not the least: buying a charger that can easily be opened with a screw to perform the soldering.
See the photo: locate the 4 pins of the USB port on the circuit board. Using a soldering iron, create a bridge
between the 2 central pins 2 and 3.
And then, THE SOLUTION: a little soldering between the 2 central pins of the USB port.

P.S. I did it on a charger from the Carrefour brand (cheap to buy).
