Problème entre écran plat et carte graphique

Bonjour,

Je viens de m'équiper d'un écran plat Acer 19" (1440 x 900 pixels), et je n'avais pas fait attention au fait que ma carte graphique NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 ne me permettait qu'une définition maxi de 1360 x 768 pixels, ce qui, bien sûr, me donne une moins bonne qualité de l'image - et surtout du texte - sur mon écran. Me faut-il changer de carte graphique, et si oui, laquelle devrais-je prendre ? Et des cables DVI seraient-ils préférables aux cables standards livrés avec ce nouvel écran ?

    Vas la tu telecharges, tu installes, tu fais et tu colles le rapport (en haut, a droite (sous favoris), selection personnalisée tu decoches tout sauf Everest report et carte mere et enfin texte brut) en reponse :

    Oui il te faut changer de carte graphique cela ne fait aucun doute...

    Ta carte msi 5200fx 128 mo est une bonne carte mais ce qui peche c'est les 128 mo, en regle general c'est 64 mo pour 800x600, 1024x728 pour 128 mo et 256 mo pour 1400x900...

    Maintenant essaies quand meme une mise a jour de ta carte graphique en installant des drivers plus recents (et surtout en desinstallant les anciens avant dans ajout/supp de programme ne te trompe pas de driver car ta carte mere aussi a un chipset Nvidia mais annoté Nforce2).

    Il te faut donc une interface AGP (x4, x8 peu importe) et non pci Express et qui ait au moins 256 mo de ram.

    Evites les "generiques" ou "no name"...

    En revanche tu risques d'avoir besoin de changer d'alim. car les cartes graphiques actuelles demandent plus de watt... Tu testes et si tu vois des ecrans bleus d'erreurs ou le pc un peu a la peine, tu repostes.

      Est-ce que les drivers de ma carte graphique viennent sous l'appelation NVIDIA Windows 2000/XP Display Drivers ? Si oui, je les désinstalle en les supprimant ou en les modifiant ?

      Sinon, pour une nouvelle carte graphique, je vais attendre que le petit cochon soit un peu plus fourni (je viens juste d'acheter l'écran 19" :-) bien que les prix des produits que tu m'as signalé ne soient pas excessifs, puis je ne manquerai pas de revenir aux nouvelles.

      A part l'alimentation, tu ne vois pas d'autres choses que j'aurai éventuellement à changer pour l'adaptation à une nouvelle carte graphique ? Cables DVI : y a-t'il un véritable mieux ?

      Oui !

      Normalement pour le cable dvi, oui, c'est un peu mieux mais le gain est souvent tres faible... Si tu peux en trouver un pour tester avant...
