Bonjour, I would like to download Guitar Pro 5 for free for my laptop running Windows Vista, but I'm hesitant to start as I can't really find a way to download it for free without getting toolbars after the download. Thank you for your help!

If it's a paid program, pay for it, and if you don't want to pay, find a free equivalent.

If you want to pay, I recommend getting Guitar Pro 6.

There's TuxGuitar, Power Tab Editor, or even MuseScore, but honestly, nothing is on par with Guitar Pro.
