Guitar Hero guitar adapter

Question

Hello,

I just bought Guitar Hero 3 on Playstation 3 with a USB adapter to sync the guitar. I would like to know if by purchasing other Guitar Hero games without a guitar, a single adapter would work to play with the different Guitar Hero games and with just one guitar.

Thank you for helping me with this very troubling doubt.

Hi

Yes, almost everything is compatible with each other

whether it's guitars from another game (Rock Band)
whether it's a guitar on an Xbox or PS3
or of course the adapter

good question I've always played alone

I think it must be doable
each instrument assigned = one controller number

knowing that on most PS3 there are only 2 USB ports
so 2 guitars one microphone one drum how do you do it?

I think everything needs to be synchronized
and assign the number on a single adapter

that's just my take ;-)
