Hello,
On my Galaxy Tab 2 tablet, I go to settings and then options, and there’s an option that asks if you want to check emails every 5, 10 minutes ... up to 1 or 2 hours. This may be the reason for the long reception time.-
Hello DOMI.95
I am taking advantage of your response because I am considering buying a Galaxy Tab2 tablet with Wi-Fi to enjoy the internet in my camper, but without a 3G subscription (using Orange hotspots). At home, I have a desktop computer with a livebox. I use Outlook to write and receive my emails. Here’s my question: will I be able to read and send emails with this tablet, and how should I do that? I’ve asked some salespeople who can’t answer me, and I can’t try it out because their tablets in the store are not connected!!!
This purchase is also for browsing football sites since my phone is too old, so I can’t use it as a modem. Therefore, I hope that with the (free) hotspots I will be satisfied? I have some doubts!!!
Thank you for guiding me as soon as possible because I’m leaving next Monday...

Hello
It's a shame, but it's not our fault. It can depend as much on your device/messaging configuration as on that of those sending the message.
Best regards
