Hello,
I’m writing you from another computer, my desktop has a problem. After upgrading to Windows 7 (I was on Windows 8), my Ethernet adapters, SM Bus, and PCI Communications are not detected. When I go to Device Manager they are marked with a (!) symbol... I came to this forum to see if others have the same issue as me, but I’m not really experienced. If you need information about my computer to help me, I’m here.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 23.0.1271.97

Hello,
What is the brand and model of your desktop PC?
In Device Manager, right-click on "Network Controller", choose "Properties" and then "Details".
Click the drop-down menu, select "Hardware Ids".
Post the information (for example: PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_1026&SUBSYS_82261043&REV_B0).
Copy only the first line, that's enough.
Do the same for the other devices that have a yellow exclamation mark. -
PCI Controller: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_1C3A1458&REV_04
Ethernet Controller: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_06
LPC/SM Bus Controller: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C22&SUBSYS_50011458&REV_05
My computer, looking in Device > Processor, seems to be Intel, I think.
Thank you. -
For the model, look at the central unit.
Is Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit that you have installed? -
64Bit operating system,
It isn’t marked on my CPU unit because I didn’t buy it from a big retailer like Fnac or Darty. Is there no other way to know? -
You can determine the motherboard model with AIDA64, for example:

For the "Ethernet Controller":

IT WORKS! Thank you very much, I’d like to be able to repay you one day, I don’t know by what means... But thank you anyway, keep up the good work!
