Scan square image slide

Hello,
I am looking for a high-quality negative/slide scanner that accepts a square-format image (50s slides)
Do models like the Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 II allow that?

    Hello,
    a very good scanner: Epson V750 (able to scan up to 4x5" format)
    accompanied by the Silverfast software.

    The Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 is normally intended for 35mm film only. So for square images, 24x24 mm maximum.
