unlock my landline phone "logicom 850" Solved

Hello,

Since yesterday my landline phone is blocked; it shows "BLOCKED" on the phone's screen. How can I unblock the phone... however, the line is active, I receive calls, but I can't make any because the phone is blocked... otherwise, apart from that, the internet and television are working fine....

Hello! I don't understand and I'm not familiar with your device specifically. I went to FT and found its manual in PDF: http://www.agence.francetelecom.com/php/vfrance/esav/fichiers_pdf/logicom/riva850.pdf It doesn't do Internet or TV (are you mixing subjects on CCM?)... Your phone, if it's indeed yours, is currently protected by a PIN code, or perhaps a second code... No, that's it, I was able to read a bit of the little manual for this phone, it's not very complicated, I quote:
3-8 Lock/Unlock the keypad
Locking the keypad prevents the accidental dialing of a number.
When the keypad is locked, "LOCKED" and the icon " " display on the screen.
a) Lock the keypad
• The handset is idle (no dial tone).
• Press the key then the “*” key on the alphanumeric keypad.
• The keypad is locked, all keys are inactive except the key
• "LOCKED" and the icon " " display on the screen
b) Unlock the keypad
• The keypad is locked
• "LOCKED" and the icon " " are displayed on the screen
• Press the key then the “*” key on the alphanumeric keypad.
• "UNLOCKED" briefly displays on the screen.
• The keypad is unlocked, all keys are active.
This is a common operation I think. Stop sleeping unfaithfully with your phone (unexpected tapping on the feverish keyboard and unexpected results kicking you out...): ))

Hello everyone,
I had the same problem with my Logicom Riva 850 and I have a solution to suggest.
My problem was that the phone was locked, with a small "key" icon on the screen, and the unlocking procedure (pressing menu then star quickly) didn’t work.
I tried a few things and here’s what worked:
I called the Riva with my mobile phone, without answering the Riva, then I hung up my mobile.
Right after that, I pressed menu then star again, and it worked... maybe it was the call from my mobile that "woke up" the Riva...
There you go, I hope this works for you too.

Hello, I'm sorry to intervene on a "resolved" topic, but my problem is exactly the same, and it might be better than making a "duplicate." So: RIVA 850 phone, for which I have the manual that I followed to the letter. The problem is at the last step: the device is asking for a name and a number. The manual does not mention this. I tried typing, randomly, "A" and "1", thinking that it was mandatory to assign some data, but these 2 questions are repeated endlessly. This device is not mine but belongs to a friend of mine, whom I would like to help. Do you think such data could have been entered by her (she doesn't remember), which absolutely needs to be found, even if I followed the complete reset procedure?  Thank you in advance.  P.S: The device can neither make calls nor receive them. It just rings when someone calls and the base keeps ringing when the call is answered. There is only one handset, and I understand well, therefore, that it is not "registered" ...  Re-P.S: Upon re-reading the manual, I see that there is a function "turn off / turn on the handset," which could explain the "failure." Since I can no longer call this friend (who doesn't live nearby and only has a landline), is that a good lead? Or should I consider it not because the reset automatically turns it back on? Is there an indication of this status on the screen? Apparently, this would correspond to the "silent" function (cross in a circle), since the method is the "same" ... But, well... once again: is this a good lead? I would like to have her notified by a neighbor by giving a simple explanation.
