Hello everyone,
I am a beginner in home theater connections and I need your help.
My sister recently bought a Sony BDV-EF220 home theater and she wants to connect it to her Samsung HD TV knowing that the TV is connected to a Bouygues decoder.
- The TV has 3 HDMI inputs, 2 SCARTs, a digital optical out, and two red and white audio outs
- The home theater has 1 HDMI, a digital optical IN, and two red and white audio ins
- The Bouygues decoder has 1 HDMI and 2 SCARTs.

If you know how to connect all of this.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    - Connect the Home Cinema to the Optical Out at the back of the TV and to the Optical In on the Home Cinema
    - Connect the Home Cinema to the TV via HDMI to enjoy the DVD and Blue-Ray player
    - Connect the Bouygues decoder to the TV via HDMI

    Everything should work :)

Thank you, I don't have an optical cable, I'll buy one right away and test your connections.
With this configuration, will the TV sound be picked up by the home theater?

Of course; make sure to select OPTICAL OUT in the settings of your Home Cinema.
