Installation:

This kit will not work properly unless special drivers are installed onto your system. If you
haven't installed them, please see the "drivers.txt" file which is located in your installation
directory.

Menu Items
----------

FILE -> Save

Saves a Relay Timer Control Record list.


FILE -> Open

Opens a Relay Timer Control Record list.

FILE -> Auto Active

If this item is checked when the application closes, the next time it opens, the active button will
auto execute.

FILE -> Exit

Closes the program

MODE

This sets the operating mode of the software into 1 of 3 modes.

Manual - Only allows manual relay control.
Timer - Only allows Timer control of relays.
Both - Allows both manual and timer control.

PORT -> Set

Sets the parallel port on your computer.


HELP -> Contents

Opens this screen.


STATUS INDICATORS
-----------------

These indicators show the state of the relay drivers.

RED = OFF
GREEN = ON



BUTTONS
-------

SET
---

These buttons allow you to individually control a relay.

RED indicator is OFF
GREEN indicator is ON


WRITE
-----

This button allows you to write the values on the SET indicators to the relay controls. Note that
the system must be in active mode for this to work.


CLEAR ALL
---------

This button allows you to turn all the relays OFF. Note that the system must be in active mode
for this to work.


SET ALL
-------

This button allows you to turn all the relays ON. Note that the system must be in active mode
for this to work.


ACTIVATE
--------

This button activates or deactivates the system timer/controller.


EDIT
----

This button opens the timer control edit window. This window can be open and changes can
be made while the timers are running, but the changes will not take effect until the Activate
button is cycled from Active OFF to Active ON again.



EDIT WINDOW
===========

This window allows you to set up timers for the relay drivers. You can add as many timer
records as you like, but if there are too many and your PC is slow, then all the records may not
get processed in the time available for the program.

The window is divided into two halves. The upper half is where you enter the timer details and
the bottom half is where you add new or modify old records.


ENTERING A RECORD
-----------------

Press [NEW]

The edit boxes will be cleared and the upper screen half will become active.

Select a relay number. [1 - 8]

Enter the times for both ON and OFF.

You can enter the current time and date into the boxes by pressing the [NOW] button. If any of
the ON boxes are active then the time will go into the ON section. If any of the OFF boxes are
active then the time will go into the OFF section.


TOGGLE
------

If during the active time you want the relay to toggle, set a toggle time for ON and OFF. This
time is in tenths of a second.

For example, if you want the relay to toggle ON for 1/2 second and off for 1 second, enter...

Toggle ON = 0.5
Toggle OFF = 1


DAILY
-----

If you want the timer record to operate on a daily basis, click on any of the day boxes.
<SMTWTFS> The timer will then operate on that day, or days, for the time specified.


When satisfied, click [ENTER].


EDIT
----

The edit button allows you to edit the data in an existing record. Once active, you can modify
that record.


DELETE
------

The button deletes the currently displayed record.


PREVIOUS - NEXT
---------------

These buttons allow you to view each record in the record data base.


DELETE ALL
----------

This button allows you to delete all the records in the data base.

Salut, sous ce systeùme dexploitation il faut utiliser une dll car
xp 2000 ne permet de commander le port parallele directement
mme en assembleur.
j arriv ke ss windaub 95 98

Si tu es toujours demandeur j'ai trouvé une dll (payante 29€)qui me paraît très bien. Il s'agit de ElkportNT. Ecris moi si tu veux des exemples de codes ou de montages d'interface.
