A headset for music and gaming at the same time?

Hello,
I'm looking to buy a new pair of headphones for my partner. I want a headset that can be used for gaming moments and also for listening to music on his iPod!
Honestly, I'm not sure if such a headset exists, one that achieves great audio quality for both uses, but especially with a microphone that is either discreet or built into the headset itself, wireless or otherwise, so it doesn't look like a radio antenna when he’s out and about...
If that's not available, I'd be open to suggestions for a gaming headset, as I honestly don’t know much about reputable brands in that area.
I’d like to set a maximum budget of 200 euros, but I’m willing to go a bit over if the quality is really worth it.

    Honestly, avoid Triton headsets; it's a brand regarded as unreliable (and too expensive for the quality offered) by the gaming community in general. I'm not saying they're bad, but in terms of versatility, for that price, you can do better.

    In fact, your question is really difficult and, in my opinion, it's impossible to find a headset that is both good for gaming and good for music listening on the go. Gaming headsets are generally good for spatialization, but they are not models of fidelity in purely audio terms. They are usually quite flashy and not at all discreet as you would like (and often have cables around 3m long, which isn't great for going out).
    Another problem is the microphone; apart from the SteelSeries Siberia V2 (which is a good headset for its price) that has a retractable mic, I don't know of any good headsets that do the same. Moreover, the SteelSeries Siberia V2 has flaws if your friend tries to use it for listening to music with his iPod: 3m cable and open structure (poor sound isolation).

    Otherwise, if you're looking for a good versatile headset for gaming/music/movies (but only for use on a computer), there's the Sennheiser PC 350 ( https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0012XFDWO/ref=asc_df_B0012XFDWO13426089?smid=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&tag=shoppingcom_pc_param_rt-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22782&creativeASIN=B0012XFDWO ). Sennheiser just took their PXC 350 headset (which is a good stationary audio headset) and added a mic, resulting in a good headset that is both suitable for gaming and music. However, even if your friend decided to listen to music at home with this headset and his iPod, it would be impossible because the headset has an impedance of 150 ohms; he needs at least a computer for it to work properly.

    There's also the option of buying a good audio headset and a separate mic, but again, there will be issues; for comfort, it's best to go with stationary headsets, but those aren't great for use with a portable player, and conversely, a portable headset is made for players but isn't great in the long run (comfort and cable length) on a computer... So I think concessions will need to be made ^^
