TV LCD Starlight 42'' won't turn on

Good evening everyone,

the problem is that my LCD, when turned on, has no image or sound; instead, it alternates colors on the screen (red - yellow - blue - white - black) and the cycle keeps repeating endlessly.

the remote control has no effect on the TV.

    Hello

    The colors might come from a "sleep" mode of the TV to avoid damaging the screen?

    Are the batteries still good in the remote?
