Hello,
When I open a PDF file with PDF-Xchange Viewer, then export it to an image and save it as TIFF, I can then retrieve it with Office Document Imaging (MODI), the page appears completely black with the text: " cannot display the page of this file"
A big thank you to those who can help me solve this problem
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 20.0

Hello
It's hard to answer: The Document Imaging module may not be installed, or there is an installation problem on your computer
Otherwise, is this operation indeed meant to retrieve text from the image?
Which version of Office do you have?

Hello Argixu
I have Office 2003 on this desktop PC.
However, on my laptop, I have Office 2010, and I installed MODI since this version of Office doesn't include it by default. Yet the problem is exactly the same!!!!
Could it be Xchange Viewer that is causing this? I should tell you that on both machines I have the free version of this software. Still, I don't think the TIFF registration is done correctly.
On 2010, I have OneNote, but I don't know how to use it, how do I open a TIFF file with this program?

Hello
No, it’s not related to your Pdf XChange Viewer version.
With OneNote 2010, you can either insert an image and copy the text.
Or you can also directly retrieve the PDF and extract the text from it.
To guide you, follow this well-made Microsoft KB here:

I see, it seems clear as you said, I will try
this manipulation. I'll keep you updated. Thanks already for your involvement.

Hello,
Okay, the process is simple, it works, I understand
But actually what I'd like to do is retrieve the entire image with its logos, header, and so on, PLUS the modified text. In short, the original rectified.
I don't see the point of modifying text from a PDF or another text image and having it alone on a blank page in Word!!! What’s the use of that?
Do you also have this solution, Argixu? Best regards, H.P
