Hello,  Here is my question: How to DIRECTLY transfer my FREE emails to another messaging service?  Thank you in advance!

It is now possible to transfer emails from your Free mailbox to another mailbox, no longer using the webmail imp.free.fr but instead using zimbra.free.fr. By adding a filter that will apply to all messages, you can forward your emails to the address you want and you will no longer need to use Gmail's POP retrieval every hour.

Hi,

If I understand correctly, you want to be able to read your emails from ton.nom@free.fr in your Wanadoo webmail, for example?
I don't think that's possible.

What is possible: with Outlook or another email client (Thunderbird, Incredimail, ...): retrieve all your emails from different ISPs or email providers in one go.

I created an account on gmail.com and used the POP Download and Forwarding option.
The free emails are downloaded by Gmail and then forwarded to the email of my choice.
This is what I found to be the most straightforward!!

Hello,

I have an email account with Free but no longer a client account (I changed providers a long time ago). Before accessing my inbox, there’s that famous ad to join Zimbra.. for now, I’m rather okay with it knowing that they offer a larger space.

* But where can we find the command to request the migration they are talking about??? *

In my Free inbox, there's nothing but the usual functions... is it because I’m no longer a customer?

I would like to read my Free emails using Firefox. Is the POP server indeed pop.free.fr? I tried and it doesn't work... how do I do it? Thank you ;)

Don't you confuse a browser and an email client?  Internet Explorer >>> Firefox Outlook >>> Thunderbird  -- To err is human; to persist is diabolical.

You just need to create a new account

Local folders/ Create a new account/
Name: whatever you want
Email address: your address at Free, xxxxx@free.fr
Next
Server name pop.free.fr

etc ...

During the first retrieval, you will be asked for your Free account password. Depending on whether you check the corresponding box or not, this password will no longer be requested or will continue to be asked each time.

Tools/Accounts
Select the account in question/Properties.
Connection tab.

Check the box Always stay connected... and select Local network.
Click Apply then OK
