Hello,

I am unable to open a page to configure my router. I could still do it some time ago. When I type 192.168.1.254 in Opera, Internet Explorer, or Firefox, the page stays blank and it keeps trying to load. Even after ten minutes, I still have nothing. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows 8 / Opera 9.80

Hi,
is this your default gateway (ipconfig)?

Are you able to ping this address?

and ... there you go!

I placed the order, a large list appeared. How do I check if I am still contacting my gateway?

Hello,

It has happened to me several times with my Linksys router, the only solution is to reset the device.

Ping to see if you can still reach your gateway.

Alright,
your router is indeed at 192.168.1.254,
so you're saying that an http://192.168.1.254 doesn't respond at all?
by the way, what model of router / box is it?

and ... There you go!

It's a bbox]. I don't know what happened all of a sudden; I could no longer open the page.

bbox from Bouygues Telecom?
fiber or ADSL?
You need to contact them to see if they can reset something on their end.
Otherwise, does a power cycle not change anything?
Then there’s the factory reset (the button) but, well, as a last resort.

bbox from Bouygues is indeed on ADSL. I have already reset it but it hasn't changed anything. Okay, I will call them to see what's up. Thank you.
