Hello,

I bought speakers two years ago and now I realize that the right speaker has a power issue. I tried it on the other RCA input and it works normally, so I conclude that it has to do with the input. However, I would like certainty on this and see if anyone else has had the same issue. I started to remove the screws located at the RCA inputs, but I feel like it's stuck to the casing. Thank you for your help.

PS: HERCULE NEVER AGAIN, SUCH A SHAME, SOUND QUALITY IS FINE BUT THE CONNECTORS ARE OF POOR QUALITY.

      Hello,
It's rare for such a problem to come from the socket; it usually comes from a capacitor or the amplifier.
As for the glue, it's there to protect the solder joints of the sockets, nothing shocking here. Usually, I use almost the same glue to secure cables when the solder might fail.

      Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your right speaker. It's possible that the power problem is related to a faulty RCA socket. However, I can't give you an absolute certainty without more information or inspecting the speaker myself.

If you suspect that the screws are stuck to the cabinet, I recommend being careful when removing them. Make sure to use the right tools and not to force them to avoid damaging the speaker further.

To get more accurate and professional assistance, I suggest contacting the customer service of your speaker manufacturer. They can guide you through the troubleshooting process and provide specific advice for your speaker model.

Regarding your experience with the Hercules brand, I understand your disappointment. It's important to do thorough research before buying products to ensure their quality and compatibility with your needs.

I hope you can resolve your speaker issue quickly. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.

    Hi
mine also goes crazy after 3 years!! but they are on almost 24/7.
    I burned the 25v-6800uF capacitor which I replaced with a 25v-10000uF.
    I'm left to change the 2 TDA7377 amplifiers (2x30W).
if someone could tell me if I can put in better amps than that?
    Thanks in advance
I would like to put TDA 3778 if that is possible...?

No, you cannot replace this TDA with the original one; each TDA needs its own circuit. Besides that, behind the casing, there is a label indicating the consumption, which can be shown in:
      Max watts.
      Va.
      Volt + Ampere.

      Give me its consumption..

Well, the power supply allows for an amplification of 30 Watts RMS, except that your model is equipped with 2 TDA7377, which means 60 Watts RMS. So if you want to make the most of your kit, you'll need to buy a power supply with a secondary voltage of 14.4V max:
      https://fr.rs-online.com/web/p/transformateurs-toriques/6719191/

The cheapest one is a toroidal transformer of 150W max at 11.8V.

    Hi,

The glue comes off in one go with pliers and without damaging the circuit or the soldering.
