The question has been asked by others, but I haven't found a satisfactory answer.
How do I sort the items in the first column alphabetically while also sorting the corresponding items in the same row across all columns?
I entered an inventory, name, No., Ref, quantity.... without worrying about the order.... Now I want to sort it by the name of the item.....
I can't find any useful explanations in the help......

Hello
quite simply actually:
select the entire range, rows and columns
Data / sort
OOO will ask you which are the columns for sorting and the type of sorting.
That's all
If the selection is too large to be done manually, enter the range of the field in the box to the left of the formula bar and press enter. the entire range will be selected.
(1st cell at the top left: last cell at the bottom right)
best regards
