Facebook won't open at all on my computer.

Hello everyone,

I was on Facebook yesterday when it stopped loading posts and then stopped loading altogether! So I turned off and restarted my computer, but it didn't help; whether using Chrome or Mozilla, Facebook won't open anymore, not my account but the Facebook page (any page, by the way). I can still access my account, but either on someone else's computer or on my phone.

Chrome shows me this while Mozilla stays on the home page:

"Web page inaccessible
The web page at https://www.facebook.com/ may be temporarily inaccessible or it may have been permanently moved to another web address.
Error 103 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED): Unknown error"

I've already cleared the caches and histories, but it doesn't change anything...

I'm using Windows 8; can someone help me?

    Note: by removing the S from HHTP, I get this response from Chrome:

    "No data received.
    Cannot display the webpage because the server sent no data.
    Here are some suggestions:
    Refresh this webpage later.
    Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data."
