Hi, I'm typing the command "slmgr" in the command prompt but it displays the following message
` 'slmgr' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
So what's the problem and how can I fix it?
Thank you, I'm on Windows 7.

Thank you, I’m doing research and I found this
I am on W7
I have the same problem as mysterwomen ...
I did all the manipulations but nothing works!
slmgr /rilc
slmgr /rearm
slmgr.vbs /xpr
slmgr.vbs
It must be normal, I don't have the file C:\Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs
However, I have a slmgr.vbs.removewat file
and a (slmgr) file in a subfolder (040C) in a folder (slmgr)
C:\Windows\System32\slmgr\040C\slmgr
Can someone please help me? =)

Hello, well here it is that it was activated with removewat, so not official.
The only way is to buy a good version or reactivate with removewat, but not cool

I found it even for those who, like me, the cmd commands don't work!
What you need to do: type in Google: "download slmgr.vbs". Personally, I took the 3rd search (the file is hosted on 2shared.com). Copy the slmgr.vbs file into C:/Windows/System32. Once this file is copied, then do the manipulations in cmd as administrator.
- slmgr/rilc (it asks if you want to open the file, press enter, a window will appear, close it.
- slmgr/rearm (same)
- restart the PC
- ENJOY :)

Nothing, only the following message
'slmgr' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Unfortunately, there is nothing else to be done; this means that your current version of Windows is "not genuine."
Sorry, and good luck anyway :)
With that, goodnight ;)
