Hello,
some time ago, I bought a nice Logitech keyboard (https://support.logi.com/hc/en-001?mID=7288) and a Logitech mouse (https://www.logitech.com/fr-ca). I discovered that the keyboard receiver (a receiver integrating Unifying technology) is compatible with both devices. No software required.
But here’s the thing. Today, I am not at home. I have a computer whose mouse I don’t like, but the keyboard is acceptable. So, I plugged in the keyboard receiver that works for both. It works great, of course.
Except my sister wants the keyboard for the computer one floor below. One floor below, after all! So, I pass her the keyboard and the keyboard receiver... and I plug in the mouse receiver to take over. But here’s the problem; nothing happens on my computer... After a good 2 minutes, my sister calls me - her mouse is moving by itself... I realized that my mouse was still set up to work with the keyboard receiver, and that plugging in the mouse receiver to another computer didn’t change anything.
In a case like this, one must be able to separate the whole...
In short, you will have understood, my question is:
How can I separate the keyboard - mouse (K800 - M310) to make these two devices work on two different computers, without the overly reliable mouse capturing up to the end of the street (not tested <.<)?
Thank you in advance!

Hello. You should have, under the mouse and on the receiver you want to pair, a button. Press and hold the button on the receiver for 5 seconds, wait 5 seconds, then also press and hold the pairing button on the mouse for 5 seconds. Then it should work. If not, try in a different order (mouse -> receiver for example), or with different timings.

Thank you for your quick response.
The receiver has no buttons. There is only the male USB port and a small tip to be able to remove it when it is connected.
The mouse has no other buttons than the right and left clicks, the scroll wheel, and the on-off switch.
P.S. The computer upstairs detects the receiver. However, even with the receiver downstairs unplugged, the mouse still does not work. -

Sorry for the delay...
Here is the message they sent me:
"If you have a device paired with a Unifying receiver and you want to pair it with the original receiver, please follow these steps:
1) If you haven't installed the SetPoint software, please install it:
https://support.logi.com/hc/en-001?mID=7288
2) Go to Start
3) Go to All Programs
4) Scroll down until you reach Logitech
5) In the Logitech folder, click on Unifying
6) Then go to the Logitech Unifying software
7) Click on Advanced.
8) Find your mouse or keyboard and Un-Pair
9) After un-pairing, remove the Unifying receiver. Plug in the other unifying receiver
10) Pair the other Unifying receiver with the mouse/keyboard
If you have any other questions Alain, feel free to contact us."
It worked. I hope to help someone with a similar issue to mine.
Best regards,
