How to deactivate a phone socket?

Hello,

I want to remove or disable a wall phone socket because it doesn't work and disturbs my ADSL:

How do I do it? Just by isolating the wires of this socket (tape, etc.)? By disconnecting them from the previous phone socket?

And if it's by disconnecting the wires, which pair should I disconnect on the other socket?

    Hi
    Just unplug a wire from the faulty socket and reinstall the socket without the wire touching any of the socket contacts.
    You can touch the wires by hand for the operation; you won't risk anything at all.
    For the other socket, don’t touch anything; it should work if it already does.
