Hello,
New to the forum, I have a question to ask you.
I use Firefox, which used to ask me if I wanted to save passwords.
However, for the past few days it hasn't been asking me anymore and in the "tools" section the "save passwords" option is grayed out.
How can I regain access to it?
I thank the knowledgeable ones (which is not my case) for their answers.
Best regards.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 19.0

Hello,
Reset Firefox:
Click on the Firefox button
Click on the Help menu
Select Troubleshooting Information
If the menu bar (File - Edit - View....) is displayed:
Click on "?"
Select Troubleshooting Information
Click on the Reset Firefox button at the top right
Click on Reset Firefox to confirm your choice
Note: When resetting, bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, cookies, and auto-fill information for web forms will be preserved. However, extensions and themes will be removed, open windows and tabs as well as tab groups will not be preserved, and preferences will be reset.

Hello friend toadangel.
I just did the trick you suggested and miraculously, the box is ungreyed.
Unfortunately, it only lasted five minutes; when I went back to check the settings, the box was greyed out again.
Mysteries and rubber balls, as they say!
