Hello,
So here it is, I’m posting a message on this forum because I have recently been receiving numerous strange calls.
This morning, a number displayed as ANONYMOUS called my landline, and I didn’t dare to answer.
Followed by another call displayed as Available, where I picked up and a voice in English said Thank you, Goodbye and hung up just as quickly… I'm afraid I might have activated something or other…
I did some research and apparently it's someone who modifies their number's display to avoid being identified. That’s the only lead I’ve found.
My ISP can’t do anything about it…
Could you provide any explanations about this ANONYMOUS number?
Thank you.
Best regards.

Hi
Anonymous appears when the caller is calling from a hidden number, so we can't help you with that! However, depending on the operators, like Free for example, anonymous calls are automatically rejected; at least, I have activated the option myself.

Thank you!
Thank you for responding so quickly louloub77.
I will immediately contact my operator (Bouygues) to find out if "they can" block all these Anonymous calls. :)
Thanks again Louloub77.
See you later.

Thank you very much!
I don't know the bbox, but you should be able to do it yourself by accessing your box at home via your PC.
I found this for you
Rejection of anonymous calls
You can choose not to answer when the caller ID is disabled and you do not see their number displayed on your phone. They will receive a specific message informing them that you do not accept anonymous calls.
*82# activates the rejection of anonymous calls
#82# deactivates it
