Hello,

Since this morning, I am unable to correctly type my password when opening my Samsung NC110 notebook (running Windows 7, Home Premium edition).

After restarting, the keyboard stays stuck, sometimes on caps lock, sometimes on lowercase.

Does anyone have a solution to suggest?
Thank you.

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 18.0

Hello,

Hold down the right shift key for 10 seconds, it might unlock the keyboard.

Restart the PC to check if the problem is the same in "Safe Mode"
Use only the first way to access it: by tapping F8 at startup (F5 on some PCs).

If you have access to Safe Mode, perform a system restore in this mode to a restore point before this issue occurred.

Thank you for your advice...
I performed a restoration as indicated, then I reached the point where I needed to enter my username and the name of the computer; unfortunately, nothing changed and I couldn't proceed.
It was also impossible to turn off the computer at that stage.
I then opted for the radical method of unplugging the power, removing the battery, and restarting (another recipe proposed in the forums).
SUCCESS... PHEW!
Now, I'm in the process of reinstalling all the software that has disappeared... that isn't causing any problems.

Thanks again for your help.
