Removal of access to the NAS server

Hello,

I work in a professional office with a networked computer via a NAS server. All professional files are stored on the server which is accessible under the network drive z:\.

I then changed offices and took my computer with me, having backed up all my personal data on my local HDD. This computer was then connected to the server at my new job.

My problem is as follows:

My computer has retained the access to the NAS from my old job because no links have been deleted. Therefore, every time I open the computer or want to access Windows Explorer, it automatically searches for the connection to the old server, causing everything to freeze, since it no longer exists and it keeps searching almost infinitely... This is very annoying and I would like to know how to remove all links to this local network that no longer exists...

Thank you very much for your responses that would prevent me from losing hours getting frustrated...

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 17.0
