MacBook Pro won't turn on and charger LED is blinking.

Good evening,

It has now been 2 hours since my MacBook Pro shut down by itself while I was using it. When I plug in the charger, the LED is very dim and it flickers orange and green quite rapidly.
I should mention that the charger was already plugged in when the Mac turned off, and it also shut down when I plugged in a mouse. When I connected this mouse, the Mac sometimes displayed that the device was consuming too much power.
It has absolutely no reaction when I try to turn it back on...

It's a MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012
Core i5 2.5GHz
500GB HDD
Video card: HD 4000

P.S.: I have experienced sparks when plugging the charger into the Mac; I checked the pins and they are fine...

Thank you.

I had the same problem and I resolved it myself.

Turn your MacBook over, remove the battery, plug in your charger, and it will suddenly work well, turn on the Mac. Stay on mains for a while, then without turning it off, close the lid, replace the battery, close the Mac. At this point, your Mac will display "no charging in progress," restart the Mac and your charger will turn orange. There you go.

I think this issue comes from the fact that the battery was fully drained, which absolutely must not happen, or recharge it immediately.
