Hi everyone
The question is in the title, I can't fill a shape with patterns (various stripes, hatching, etc.). However, with Excel 2003 (I think) I knew how to do it. I am using Excel 2007 and can't find the trick.
Note that I can only fill cells and not shapes (rectangle, square, circle)
Thank you for your help

Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 23.0.1271.97

Hello,

With 2007, you have an additional "format" tab that opens, and you need to select it to access the more extensive options available.

Re hello
I do open this tab, but it only shows fill colors, gradient or texture, not pattern which is something entirely different.
Has this feature disappeared from the program?
Thank you

Yes.
The form filling and the cell coloring are two very distinct operations, with specific tools.

Office 2010:
Under the "Home" tab, click on Format then "Cells Format"
then choose the "Fill" tab and "Pattern style"

... and if we have the French version, like 95% of the users on this forum, what do we do?
