Check if my PC has been used in my absence

Hello,
I am new to computers, which is why I am seeking your help.
When I got home from work, I turned on my computer and VLC opened directly with an ISO file playing.
Being certain I did not use VLC the night before, I wonder if this could be due to a bug or if someone used my PC while I was away.
I would like to know if it is possible to simply check if my PC was turned on between midnight and 5 PM today.

And my Samsung tablet tells me Google services have stopped and Hangouts... and processes... stopped
And my computer sometimes turns on by itself....
