Hello,

I am looking for how to format numbers in Excel (cell format, number) in m² just like you can do for currency, date, etc.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

there are many predefined formats in Excel for this, right-click on your cell or range of cells/Format Cells/Number and there choose your date, time, currency format, etc.
we often forget to check the Special category to display phone numbers for social security departments, etc.
but you can create your own format, like for square meters, just go to Custom and enter this format in the Type text box

0.00 " m²"

to make the 2 of square meters superscript, either use the key above the tab key or press Alt and 253 on the numeric keypad or Alt 252 for cubic meters

Best,
